LionFox Development, LLC (“we”) develops affordable and mixed-income housing in New York City and operates lionfoxdevelopment.com. This policy covers this website only: what it collects and what we do with it.
Effective date: October 6, 2026
What we collect
You can read every page without giving us your name or contact details.
- The contact form. We receive what you enter: full name, company or organization (optional), email address, phone number (optional), the topic you choose, and your message. Please leave out sensitive details such as Social Security numbers or health information.
- Server logs. Our web server records each request: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type, and the page you came from. Our hosting software may summarize these logs as visit statistics.
What we do not do
- We do not set cookies on the pages visitors read. Cookies go only to people who open the sign-in page used to manage the site. The site stores a single technical setting in your browser: whether the browser can display emoji. That setting clears when you close the tab.
- We do not use advertising or tracking tools, and no analytics service runs in your browser.
- We do not sell personal information or give it to anyone for their own marketing.
How we use what we collect
We use your inquiry to reply and continue the conversation. We do not add you to a mailing list. We use server logs to keep the site running and secure.
Who else is involved
- Hosting and email. The website and the mailbox that receives your inquiry run on an Amazon Web Services server in the United States. The inquiry is not saved in the website’s database. We may reply from a separate email account, whose provider handles your email address and our reply.
- People helping us answer. When an inquiry calls for it, we may pass that inquiry to an adviser or partner working with us on the matter it concerns.
- Google Fonts. A typeface we use loads from Google on every page, so Google receives your IP address, browser details, and our site’s address. Google says the service sets no cookies and that it does not use this information to profile people or for targeted advertising.
- YouTube. A video loads only when you press play, through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced address (youtube-nocookie.com). After that, your browser connects to YouTube directly, YouTube may store data on your device, and Google’s privacy policy applies.
- Links. Our pages link to outside websites, including news outlets, public records, podcasts, organizations, and YouTube. Your browser sends them nothing unless you click. Each has its own privacy practices and can usually see you came from our site.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry emails to answer you and as a record of our business dealings. We keep server logs for security and troubleshooting. We have not set a fixed period for either.
Your choices
To get a copy of an inquiry you sent, or to have it corrected or deleted, use the contact form on our homepage and choose “Other” as the topic. To confirm the request is yours, we will answer at the email address or phone number on the original inquiry. We will then send the copy, make the correction, or delete the inquiry from our mailbox, unless we need it for legal reasons or as a business record.
Do Not Track signals
We do not follow visitors across other websites, and the site works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or similar signal. Google can collect the information described above when a font loads and, through YouTube, once you press play. Google’s privacy policy governs that, and we do not control it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No website or email system is completely secure.
Children
This site is written for adults, mainly business partners, investors, and press. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Where information is handled
We run and host this site in the United States, and we wrote it for readers there.
Changes to this policy
We will post any new version here with a new effective date. If a change affects how we use or share information you already sent us, we will also post a notice on our homepage.
Contact us
For any privacy question, use the contact form on our homepage and choose “Other” as the topic.
